Send us a tip.
We protect sources. We do not store the contents of unsolicited messages unless we are actively reporting on them. We use Signal and SecureDrop for sensitive material. The reporter on call this week is Victor Langston.
What happens next
Three rules we keep when a tip comes in.
I.
We do not name you to anyone.
Source identity is held by the reporter and one editor. Nothing reaches our operations, marketing, or legal teams without your written consent.
II.
We verify before we publish.
We need at least one independent confirmation, or primary documents. We will tell you what we can confirm and what we cannot.
III.
We tell you before publication.
If a story names you or relies on your material, you will hear from us before it goes live. No surprises.
